Screenshot Gold began with a habit the founders shared: photographing digital life before the meaning of an ordinary screen disappeared. We want to understand where that habit is difficult for other people.
A detailed message about one frustrating step can be more valuable than a vague request for more features. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, and what the ideal screenshot flow would feel like.
Bug reports
Include the macOS version, app version, exact steps, expected result, actual result, and only the screenshots or recordings you intentionally choose to share.
Privacy and security
Ask what the app can access, where files are stored, how permissions work, or report a behavior that appears inconsistent with our published privacy model.
Ideas and edge cases
Tell us about a research, agent, team, family, gaming, education, or archival workflow that current screenshot tools do not handle well.
